141 Report: Alex Gerulis, Secretary Treasurer of IAMAW District 141

As Secretary-Treasurer, Alex Gerulis is responsible for the financial well-being of District 141 of the Machinists and Aerospace Union. Since 2016, under the oversight of Alex Gerulis, District 141 has become one of the best-managed and fiscally responsible union groups in the nation.

This week, Secretary-Treasurer Gerulis tours the District Headquarters’ financial department, explaining how he and his staff maintain tight control over the fiscal health of the 38,000-member strong organization.

141 Report: Legislative Report with David Roderick

141 Legislative Director Dave Roderick updates Machinists Union members about the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act recently signed into law by President Biden. Roderick was among a group of union activists invited to the White House to witness the historic signing of this critical legislation, which will help modernize US Airports.

Air Rage

The IAM is calling for stronger legislation with stiffer penalties against unruly passengers who assault customer service agents and other airline workers. Until these incidents end, our union will keep pushing for enforcement of laws, because air rage seems to be a never-ending issue that current penalties haven’t been able to stop.
