District Lodge 141 Officer Nomination and Election Notice
Sisters and Brothers:
Pursuant to a Voluntary Compliance Agreement between the United States Department of Labor – Office of Labor-Management Standards (OLMS) and the International Association of Machinists District Lodge 141 (DL 141), signed on October 21, 2016, DL 141 will conduct a new election under the supervision of the Secretary of Labor for the all officer positions to serve four year terms: President Directing General Chairman (PDGC), Secretary-Treasurer, Vice President – East, Vice President – West, four (4) Vice President At-Large, Vice President – Guam, Vice President – Hawaii, three (3) Trustees and twenty four (24) Assistant General Chairpersons.
The official notice was mailed to all members on December 14, 2017. If you DID NOT receive this notice, please notify the District Lodge 141 office at (847)640-2222 ext. 119 to provide or confirm your current address and we will update our database. The notice and all related attachments are also posted on the DL 141 website (https://iam141.org).
Nominations will be held for all local lodges on Saturday, January 20, 2018:
6am – 8am and 6pm – 8pm.
Endorsement voting, if needed, will be Saturday, February 10, 2018:
6am – 8am and 6pm – 8pm.
Election of all contested positions will be held Friday, June 8, 2018:
6am – 6pm
Absentee nominations and balloting is available to those who qualify as detailed in the official notice. Locations of nominations, endorsement voting and elections for each local lodge are likewise detailed in the notice and on the DL 141 website.
