The International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAMAW) is providing additional resources for members with substance abuse problems or in recovery from various addictions. Members will now be able to access twelve-step program meetings across the United States and internationally due to the newly expanded benefits package being offered. The IAMAW has contracted with CyberSober.com to facilitate these benefits.

CyberSober.com provides access to more than 210,000 twelve-step meetings in the United States and seventy-two countries worldwide. Licensed by Mapquest, CyberSober is able to assist with detailed door-to-door directions to those meetings. This is a useful resource for users of Cybersober.com who are traveling in unfamiliar areas. Members can also find increased support at CyberSober.Com with access to participating treatment providers, behavioral healthcare workers, and other online recovery services.

"The addition of this service provides an invaluable tool for our members," according to Maria Cordone, Director of Community Services/Retirees of the IAMAW. "The well-being of our members and their families is of critical importance to us and we are committed to them. Our members and their families are of critical importance to us and we are committed to them. Our goal is to support our members and foster their well-being. CyberSober gives us the opportunity to do that by aiding members while they are traveling, relocating or if they need to find a treatment facility. This program also allows members to maintain a high level of confidentiality and discretion."

Rob Morgan, CEO of CyberSober states that his concept came about as a result of the needs of people trying to find a local meeting in an unfamiliar area, compounded by the frustration of trying to navigate one's way to those meetings. "We are very excited to be partnering with the IAMAW. Their level of commitment to their members is exemplary and their vision will set the standard for unions for years to come. We are proud to be part of such a fine organization and are looking forward to a rewarding relationship."

CyberSober.com, founded and managed by persons recovering from alcoholism and other addictions is an independent corporation and is not affiliated with Alcoholics Anonymous or any other organization.
